Pancakes at the Sugar House
Every Sunday starting January 8th ski down to the Sugar House for free pancakes and local syrup! Pancakes will be served from 11am to 2pm and the only voucher needed is your ski pass!
Guided backcountry Ski Tours with Dick Carlson
Skiing expert and former Garnet Hill Ski Shop Director Dick Carlson will be leading afternoon ski tours every Sunday on the most popular backcountry ski trails in the surrounding Siamese Ponds wilderness area.
Trips will begin as soon as snow conditions permit. All participants must have backcountry equipment. Rentals are available at the ski shop. These trips are for advanced skiers only. Trips are free for season pass holders and lodge guests. There is a $25 fee for all others, backcountry rentals not included.

Moonlit Ski and Snowshoe Tours
Each full moon at 6pm join us for a guided ski or snowshoe tour. Tours will be on our trails and/or nearby backcountry trails. Cost of each tour is $35 per person. Tours will end at the Log House where complementary drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Dates are December 13th, January 12th, February 11th and March 12th, weather permitting.

Ice Skating at Garnet Hill
All winter long enjoy our new ice skating rink located on the front lawn of the Log House. Hone your skating skills, enjoy hot cocoa or hot toddies, take in the views, all while building cherished memories of magical winters at our historic lodge.
Tours to Hooper Mine
Would you like to learn about the history of Garnet Hill Lodge and the surrounding Garnet Mines? Are you interested in finding out about the geology of the region? Join Judy Brown of local “Garnet Studios” for this fun and informative hike by snowshoe to nearby Hooper Mine. Judy will share her knowledge of the local garnet industry as well as the history of Garnet Hill Lodge. The first tour will be held Sunday, January 15th @10am. Duration will be approximately 2 hours. Snowshoes available at the ski shop.
Snowshoe Nature Hikes
Snowshoe Nature Hikes Join Judith Harper for these hands on woodland classes where you will learn all about the environment in the Adirondacks, including its flora and fauna. This will be a very informative class for anyone who cares about the impact we have on our environment and the future of our planet. Classes will be held December 24th @10am and January 1st @1pm. Duration will be approximately 2 hours. Snowshoes available at the ski shop.
