We're trying a new approach to dining on weekdays this summer using a small, but select and delicious number of menu options that change daily. On weekends we continue offer our usual full menu. As previously, entrees include homemade bread, salad, starch and a vegetable. For our overnight guests, included with your meal is  salad, homemade bread, any dinner entree, dessert , and beverage. Items not included are all appetizers and alcoholic beverages.

So far this summer, guests are enjoying our new approach and have been complementing the chef on our meals. Some of the items featured  have included:

Chicken Pinata -- 8oz Tender and Juicy pan seared chicken breast seasoned with lemon pepper and topped with a light white wine butter sauce

Mediterrian Pasta -- Pasta smothered with a sauce of tomatoes, olives, onions, capers,  spinach, and  artichoke hearts 

Chicken Cacciatora -  cooked slowly so that flavors in the sauce are subtle and perfectly blended and the chicken is as tender as butter.

Poached Wild Alaskan Salmon –  8 oz. of wild salmon in a chardonnay butter sauce, served with rice and vegetables du jour

Appetizers

  • SHRIMP COCKTAIL
    Tender Jumbo Shrimp served with our house tangy cocktail sauce
  • Roasted Garlic Hummus
    Served on Greek flatbread with black olives and roasted red peppers

Main Entrees

  • RUBY MOUNTAIN CHICKEN
    Tender & Juicy Boneless Sautéed Chicken Breast, topped with spinach, cheddar cheese & a roasted red pepper sauce.
  • COUGAR TRAIL CHICKEN
    Cougar Trail is an old time lodge favorite.  Tender boneless chicken breast covered in a creamy pesto sauce surrounded by mushrooms and sundried tomatoes, served on a bed of linguini.
  • CHICKEN PARMESAN
    Breaded Boneless Chicken Breast topped with a home made marinara sauce, Mozzarella & Parmesan cheese with pasta.
  • WILDERNESS STEAK
    Tender 12 oz. choice hand cut N.Y Strip  grilled over an open flame and topped with Sautéed onions & mushrooms.
  • IRISH WHISKEY STEAK
    Tender 12 oz. choice hand cut grilled NY Strip steak covered in a creamy Irish Whiskey Sauce.
  • GALWAY BAY PORK CHOPS
    Two(2) center cut Pork Chops pan seared to perfection & dressed with spiced apples and a hint of brandy..
  • PEAKED POND TROUT
    Two whole fillets of Rainbow Trout breaded with grilled Pecans and Walnuts drizzled in light Lemon Butter sauce.
  • VEAL MARSALLA
    Sautéed veal cutlets with mushrooms and garlic covered in a Marsala wine sauce
  • VEAL PARMESAN
    Six ounce veal cutlet hand breaded and topped with Marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.  Served with a side of pasta and sauce
  • BAKED ATLANTIC SALMON
    8 oz. Atlantic Salmon Filet encrusted with horseradish, fresh herbs & bread Crumbs topped with a creamy dill sauce – “A House Favorite”.
  • IRISH PUB STYLE FISH AND CHIPS
    A large breaded haddock filet served with French Fries and homemade coleslaw.

Vegetarian Entrees

  • PASTA MARINARA
    Al Dente Penne Pasta with our house made marinara sauce.
  • APRICOT & ORANGE STIR FRY
    A selection of fresh vegetables stir-fried in an Apricot and orange marmalade sauce and served over rice
  • EGGPLANT ROULADE
    Two eggplant cutlets stuffed with ricotta cheese, topped with mozzarella cheese and served over pasta.

In addition we serve Lite meals, daily specials and a special children's menu.
